It is a semi‑permeable, softenable, and highly durable polymer, and its low cost and high resistance make it widely preferred in industry. Polyethylene is classified into various categories based on density and chemical properties. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystalline structure, and branching type. Although properties vary by type, general characteristics include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene products are used in the manufacture of slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used to color polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The product wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for areas exposed to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for barriers and shading elements not subjected to pressure. Material distribution must be even to achieve uniform thickness. Product wall thicknesses and dimension tolerances are ±5%. Electrostatic Powder Coating All metal components will be prepared for painting by removing oil, dirt, and rust using the most effective method—sandblasting—to create pores for better paint adhesion. Fine steel shot is blown onto the component under compressed air to open pores and remove contaminants. After manufacturing, the metal parts are coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder, then cured in an oven at 200‑220 °C for 20 minutes. Subsequently, the metal components are rinsed in a 10‑minute, 70 °C bath with 5 % degreaser, followed by a 15‑minute immersion in a 50 °C bath with 1 % acid solution. After a final rinse and drying, the components are coated with a durable outdoor polyester powder paint and cured in ovens at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes. Weld seams will be painted in a single coat after welding to prevent corrosion.
