It is semi‑permeable, softening, and highly durable, offering low cost and high resistance, making it a popular industrial material. Based on density and chemical properties, polyethylene is classified into several categories. Its mechanical characteristics depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. While properties vary, it generally provides good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used to manufacture slides, ladders, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, the masterbatch pigments used for coloring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) at points exposed to pressure and friction, and a minimum of 4 mm (0.2 in) for items used only as barriers or shading. Material distribution must be uniform, and thickness tolerances are ±5%. Carrier Construction The carrier structure consists of round‑section steel tubes manufactured according to TS EN 10219-2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards. Tubes are cold‑formed with a minimum outer diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and wall thickness of at least 2 mm (0.1 in), then welded by high‑frequency welding. They are then coated with polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint applied in a furnace. Electrostatic Powder Paint Process All metal components are first sandblasted to remove oil, grime, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine metal beads are then sprayed with pressurized air to open micro‑pores and clean the surface. After sandblasting, components are coated with polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Following coating, parts undergo a 10‑minute 70 °C oil‑removal wash (5 % concentration), then a 15‑minute 50 °C iron‑pickling bath (1 % concentration). After rinsing and drying, the electrostatic system applies a durable polyester powder finish in a 180‑200 °C oven for 20‑30 minutes. Weld seams are fully painted after welding to prevent corrosion.
