It is a semi‑permeable, pliable and very durable polymer, prized for its low cost and high resistance, making it popular in industry. Polyethylene is classified by density and chemical properties. Its mechanical characteristics depend on molecular weight, crystal structure and branching type. While properties vary, it generally offers good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene products are used to manufacture slides, stairs, handrails, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The product’s wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for parts subject to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for barrier and shading components not exposed to pressure. Material distribution must be uniform, creating consistent thickness. Thickness and dimension tolerances are ±5 %. Carrier Construction Steel tubes with a minimum 114 mm (4.5 in) diameter and at least 2 mm (0.1 in) wall thickness, conforming to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394, are cold‑formed and welded with high‑frequency welding. Tubes are painted by sandblasting followed by a polyester‑based electrostatic powder coating. Electrostatic Powder Coating All metal parts are sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine steel beads are sprayed with compressed air to open pores and clean the surface. After coating with polyester‑based electrostatic paint, parts are cured in a 200–220 °C oven for 20 minutes. After fabrication, metal components undergo a 10‑minute 70 °C, 5 % concentration oil‑removal bath, followed by a 15‑minute 50 °C, 1 % iron bath, rinsing, and drying. Finally, they are powder‑coated and cured at 180–200 °C for 20–30 minutes. Weld seams are fully painted after welding to prevent rust.
