It is semi‑permeable, moldable, and highly durable, offering low cost and high resistance, which makes it a preferred material in industry. Depending on density and chemical characteristics, it is classified into several categories. Mechanical properties, molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type determine performance. While exact properties vary by type, the material generally provides good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and superior chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used to manufacture slides, handrails, barriers, accessories, roofs, and more. For color retention, masterbatch pigments used to colour polyethylene must have a light fastness rating of 6 or higher. Minimum wall thickness is 6 mm (0.2 in) for components subjected to pressure or abrasion, and 4 mm (0.2 in) for non‑load‑bearing barriers and shading elements. Material distribution must be uniform to achieve consistent thickness. Dimensional tolerance for thickness and measurements is ±5%. Electrostatic Powder Coating: All metal parts are first cleaned by sandblasting to remove oil, grime, and rust, creating a porous surface that promotes better paint adhesion. A fine bead material, packed in a pressure‑resistant cabinet, is sprayed with compressed air to open pores and eliminate contaminants. After manufacturing, metal components are coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in an oven at 200‑220 °C for 20 minutes. Subsequently, parts undergo a 10‑minute dip in a 70 °C bath with a 5% degreasing solution, followed by a 15‑minute immersion in a 50 °C bath containing a 1% iron solution. After rinsing and drying, the components receive a final polyester‑based outdoor‑grade electrostatic powder coating, baked at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes. Welded joints are protected by painting the entire assembled unit after welding to prevent corrosion.
