Seating Area: 200 x 1000 cm (78.7 x 394 in) Height: 250 cm (98.4 in) Wood Specifications: The wood material for manufacturing will be first‑grade Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections will be fabricated with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and wood dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). The following wood quality criteria apply: Knots: Up to four solid knots may appear per meter. The combined diameter of knots will not exceed one‑quarter of the total piece width. No rotten, defective, partially fused, or split knots are permitted. Cracks: No ring cracks are allowed. Micro‑cracks (1–2 mm (0-0.1 in)) may be present. Cracks resulting from pressure‑impregnation processes are acceptable provided they remain within tolerance limits. Resin pockets: Each meter may contain at most one resin pocket not exceeding 10 cm (3.9 in) in length. No dripping or pulling resin, no inner bark, rot cavities, or insect holes are permitted. Manufacturing defects are not allowed; only deviations within the specified tolerances are acceptable. Deflection: Deflection shall not exceed 1/50 of the member length. Impact marks shall not exceed 1/100 of the member width. Twist: Twist shall not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter of length. Bending at the grain: Bending may be tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the member length. Sanding: All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth to remove splinters. Main Supports: The support posts will be fabricated from six pieces of pine lumber, each at least 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in), shaped with diamond‑tipped special knives that add a motif. The height of the support posts will be 240 cm (94.5 in). Roof: The roof’s load‑bearing rafters will be made from 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) wood. Two corners of each rafter will be routed to shape them. Additional 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) motif‑decorated rafters, also cut with diamond‑tipped knives, will be installed on top of the primary rafters. All fixed connections will use special galvanized wood screws. Anchoring: A 150 × 150 × 5 mm (5.9 x 5.9 x 0.2 in) flange will be welded onto the bottom of each support post, with a 90 × 70 × 5 mm (3.5 x 2.8 x 0.2 in) plate welded on top, and a 12 mm (0.5 in) diameter hole drilled. Anchors will be mounted to the posts with screws and will also be attached to the ground using steel dowels. This prevents water contact with the wood and secures the support posts. Picnic gazebo anchors will be fabricated by welding at least two sides of a minimum 3 mm (0.1 in) thick flange, with a minimum of two welds per side. Six special screws will be inserted into each post for the anchor connection, and two dowel screws per post for the ground connection. All metal components will be powder‑coated with a polyester‑based paint in a furnace.
