Seating Area: 300 x 300 cm (118 x 118 in). Height: 250 cm (98.4 in). Wood Characteristics: The lumber used will be 1st‑grade Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) timber. Wood sections will be cut with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and overall dimensions with a tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). Grain: Each piece may contain up to four solid knots, none exceeding one‑quarter of the component width. No rot, defect, partially fused, or missing knots. Cracks: No ring cracks; hairline cracks up to 1‑2 mm (0.1 in) are acceptable. Pressure‑treated resin may show head and shaft cracks within tolerance limits. Resin pockets: Up to one 10 cm (3.9 in) resin pocket per piece; no dripping or pulling resin, no inner shell, rot cavity, or insect holes. Manufacturing defects are excluded; only tolerances apply. Deflection: Not to exceed 1/50 of the member length; impact not to exceed 1/100 of member width. Twist: Not to exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter. Flexural tolerance: Between 1/50 and 1/100 of member length. Sanding: All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth. Main Supports: Six 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in) pine beams, machined with diamond‑tipped specialty blades, will serve as support legs, each 240 cm (94.5 in) tall. Roof: The roof’s carrier slats will be made from 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) wood, with two corners milled for shape. Additional 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) slats, shaped with diamond‑tipped blades, will be attached. All fixed connections will use special galvanized wood screws. Anchoring: A 150 × 150 × 5 mm (5.9 x 5.9 x 0.2 in) flange with a 90 × 70 × 5 mm (3.5 x 2.8 x 0.2 in) steel plate will be welded to the base of each support leg, drilled with a 12 mm (0.5 in) hole. Anchors will be bolted to the legs with screws and to the ground with steel dowels, preventing water contact with the wood and securing the legs. Picnic gazebo anchors will be fabricated by welding flanges around at least three mm thick plates on both sides. Six special screws per leg for anchor‑to‑leg connection, and two dowel screws per leg for ground connection. All metal parts will be powder‑coated with a polyester‑based finish.
