The outer case carriers are 700 mm (27.6 in) high laminated steel bars, 5 mm (0.2 in) thick, with fastening rings that are 30 mm (1.2 in) wide and 3 mm (0.1 in) thick. The lower components are 60×40 mm (2.4 x 1.6 in), 0.5 cm (0.2 in) thick, bent to form a foot. The inner bin is 510 mm (20.1 in) high and 290 mm (11.4 in) in diameter, made from 0.75 mm (0 in) galvanized sheet. The outer part is constructed by wrapping twenty‑one 40×20×510 mm (1.6 x 0.8 x 20.1 in) laminated boards around the circumference and securing them with wooden screws. To mount the inner bin, a lower inner ring of at least 30×5 mm (1.2 x 0.2 in) is welded in place. After metal work is completed, oil and rust are removed and the parts are prepared for painting by furnace treatment. The metal components are washed in a phosphating tank, rinsed with clear water, and rested for 10–15 minutes before surface cleaning. Painting method: after furnace treatment, the components are coated with electrostatic powder paint and cured at 180–200 °C. The wooden material is first‑grade, kiln‑dried yellow pine.
