The unit measures 440 mm (17.3 in) in width and 1150 mm (45.3 in) in height and consists of a litter bin and a carrier frame. 2. The litter bin is fabricated from 0.75 mm (0 in) thick sheet metal, with a diameter of 290 mm (11.4 in) and a height of 500 mm (19.7 in). A window in the bin body will be opened by hydraulic press forming. The top of the bin includes a metal lid made from 0.75 mm (0 in) sheet metal. 3. The carrier foot is formed by bending a Ø48 × 3 mm (1.9 x 0.1 in) pipe profile. 4. The bin and the feet are joined with galvanized screws. 5. The bin can be emptied by rotating the feet a full 360°. 6. After fabrication, the metal components are cleaned of oil and rust, then baked to prepare for painting. Components are washed in a phosphating tank, rinsed with fresh water, and rested for 10–15 minutes before surface cleaning. 7. Painting: After baking, the parts are coated with electrostatic powder paint and cured at 180–200 °C.
