It is a semi‑permeable, pliable, and highly durable polymer that is inexpensive and highly resistant, making it popular in industry. Polyethylene density and chemical properties determine its classification into several categories. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. Although properties vary by type, general attributes include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used to manufacture slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. Product wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) where the material is subjected to pressure and friction, and a minimum of 4 mm (0.2 in) for items not exposed to pressure, such as barriers and shade structures. Material distribution must be uniform, and wall thickness consistent. Thickness and dimensional tolerances are ±5%. CARRIER CONSTRUCTION Steel tubes with a minimum outer diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in), conforming to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards, will be cold‑formed and welded by high‑frequency welding. Tubes will be sand‑blasted and coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint. ELECTROSTATIC POWDER COATING All metal parts will be cleaned of oil, dirt, and rust by abrasive blasting, then pre‑treated with a fine‑bead coating applied by pressurized air to open pores for better paint adhesion. After fabrication, metal components will receive a polyester‑based electrostatic paint and be cured in a 200–220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Subsequently, components will undergo a 10‑minute 70 °C dip in a 5% degreasing bath, followed by a 15‑minute 50 °C dip in a 1% iron bath, rinsing, and drying. Finally, the entire assembly will be painted as a single piece to prevent rust at weld seams, using durable polyester powder coating baked at 180–200 °C for 20–30 minutes.
