It is a semi‑permeable, softening, highly durable polymer that is favored in industry for its low cost and high resistance. Polyethylene density and chemical properties determine its classification. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystalline structure, and branching type. While properties vary, they generally offer good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene components are used to manufacture slides, ladders, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch dyes used for coloring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. Product wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for parts exposed to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for items used only as barriers or shading. Material distribution must be uniform, and thickness tolerances are ±5 %. Carrier Construction The carrier construction consists of round steel tubes with a minimum diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in), cold‑formed according to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards, and welded by high‑frequency welding. Tubes are sandblasted and then powder‑coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint. Electrostatic Powder Paint Process All metal parts are first sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine steel shot is blown with pressurized air to open pores, then the parts undergo a degreasing bath at 70 °C for 10 minutes, followed by a phosphating bath at 50 °C for 15 minutes. After rinsing and drying, the parts are coated with polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint and cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Weld seams are fully painted after welding to prevent corrosion.
