It is a semi‑transparent, pliable, and highly durable polymer that is popular in industry due to its low cost and high resistance. Polyethylene is classified by density and chemical properties into different categories. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. While properties vary by grade, common characteristics include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene products are used to manufacture slides, stairs, guardrails, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch dyes used for coloring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The material thickness at points subjected to pressure and friction must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in); for barrier and shading components not exposed to pressure, a minimum of 4 mm (0.2 in) is required. Material distribution must be uniform, and thickness consistent. Thickness and dimensional tolerances are ±5%. Carrier Construction The carrier construction consists of circular‑section steel pipes with a minimum diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in), cold‑formed in accordance with TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards and welded by high‑frequency welding. Pipes are painted by sandblasting followed by a polyester‑based electrostatic powder‑coat applied in a furnace. Electrostatic Powder Coating All metal parts are first cleaned with sandblasting to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. A fine‑grain bead material is then sprayed with compressed air to open pores and eliminate contaminants. After cleaning, the parts are coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder and baked in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Subsequently, the parts undergo a degreasing bath at 70 °C for 10 minutes (5 % concentration), followed by a 15‑minute iron‑phosphate bath at 50 °C (1 % concentration). After rinsing and drying, the components receive a final polyester‑based powder coating applied in outdoor‑grade ovens at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes. Weld seams are fully coated to prevent corrosion.
