Seat Area: 400 x 400 cm (157 x 157 in) Roof Area: 470 x 470 cm (185 x 185 in) Height: 300 cm (118 in) Wood Features: The wood material used for manufacturing will be 1st Grade Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections will be fabricated with a maximum tolerance of (±) 2 mm (0.1 in), and wood dimensions with a maximum tolerance of (±) 20 mm (0.8 in), according to the project. Required wood characteristics in manufacturing include: - Knots: Each piece may contain up to 4 solid knots. The total width of knot diameters will not exceed ¼ of the piece width. No rotten, defective, partially fused, or broken knots will be present. - Cracks: No ring cracks will be present. Hairline cracks (1‑2 mm (0.1 in)) may occur. Pressure‑treated environment specifications may allow head and length cracks, but they must be within tolerance limits. - Resin pockets: Each piece may contain one resin pocket not exceeding 10 cm (3.9 in) in length. No dripping or pulling resin, inner shell, rot cavities, or insect holes will be present. Manufacturing defects are not allowed; only deviations within the specified tolerances are permitted. - Deflection: Deflection will not exceed 1/50 of the member length. Impact deformation will not exceed 1/100 of the member width. - Twist: Twist will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter of length. - Slope to blade: Deflection will be tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the member length. - Sanding: All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth and free of splinters. Woods will be painted with a white lacquer. Primary Supports: Support legs will be made from eight pieces of pine lumber, each at least 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in), cut with diamond‑tipped custom knives to create a motif. Support leg height will be 240 cm (94.5 in). Roof: The roof support beams will be fabricated from 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) wood. Two corners of each beam will be routed to shape them. The tops of the beams will be fastened with wooden veneer, laminate, or fiber material. Zinc‑coated membranes will be mounted on the veneer with wide‑head specialty nails, followed by American cedar shingle roofing material secured with the same nails. The eave board will use wooden laths at least 30 × 130 mm (1.2 x 5.1 in), cut with diamond‑tipped knives and fastened to the roof beams with galvanized wood screws. The roof connection frame will consist of eight 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) laths, each end cut at specific angles and shaped with diamond‑tipped knives, attached to the support structure on one side and to the eave board on the other. All fixed connections will use stainless‑steel wood screws; galvanized wood screws will be used for the connections between the primary supports and the roof. Upper Panels: The upper railings are 35 cm (13.8 in) wide. Railing frames are made from 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) wood, sanded on all sides and edged with diamond‑tipped knives. They will be mounted to the primary supports with galvanized wood screws. Intermediate motifs are made from wood measuring 40 × 50 mm (1.6 x 2 in) and will be attached to the upper and lower railing frames with galvanized screws. Lower Panels (Railings): The lower railing height is 75 cm (29.5 in). Railing frames are 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) wood, sanded on all sides and edged with diamond‑tipped knives, mounted to the primary supports with galvanized wood screws. Intermediate motifs of 40 × 50 mm (1.6 x 2 in), cut with diamond‑tipped custom knives, will be attached to the railing frames with galvanized screws and transparent wood glue. Seating Unit: The seating unit uses eight wooden legs, each at least 4 × 9 cm (1.6 x 3.5 in), attached with one end to the support structure and the other end to the seating slats. Four diamond‑tipped, custom‑motif wood slats will be installed on each side using galvanized screws. Anchoring: A flange of 18 × 13 × 3 mm (0.7 x 0.5 x 0.1 in) will be welded onto the bottom of each support leg, followed by a 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate. Two anchor holes will be drilled in a 13 × 8 × 3 mm (0.5 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate, and three 6 mm (0.2 in) screw holes will be drilled in each 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate. Anchors will be bolted to the underside of the support legs with screws and connected to the ground with steel dowels. This prevents water contact with the wood and secures the support legs to the ground. Gazebo anchors will be fabricated by welding flanges at least 2.5 mm (0.1 in) thick on two opposite sides. Six special screws will be placed on each leg for connection to the uprights, and two dowel screws per leg for ground attachment. All metal components will be powder‑coated with a polyester‑based finish.
