Seating Area: 400 × 400 cm (157 x 157 in) Roof Area: 470 × 470 cm (185 x 185 in) Height: 300 cm (118 in) Wood Specifications: The timber used for manufacturing will be first‑grade Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections will be cut to a maximum tolerance of ± 2 mm (0.1 in), and overall dimensions to a maximum tolerance of ± 20 mm (0.8 in). Required wood characteristics include: • Knots: Up to four solid knots per meter, each knot diameter not exceeding one‑quarter of the part width. No rot, defect, partially fused, or fallen knots are allowed. • Cracks: No ring cracks; fine cracks (1–2 mm (0-0.1 in)) may be present. Pressure‑treated cracks are acceptable if they fall within tolerance limits. • Resin Pockets: Maximum length 10 cm (3.9 in) per meter, with only one pocket allowed. No leaking or pulling resin, inner bark, decay cavities, or insect holes are permitted. Manufacturing defects are not allowed; only the specified tolerances may apply. • Deflection: Deflection shall not exceed 1/50 of the member length. Impact marks shall not exceed 1/100 of the width. • Twist: Maximum 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter length. • Blade Flex: Deflection between 1/50 and 1/100 of the member length is permissible. • Sanding: All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth and free of splinters. The wood will be finished with a white lacquer. Main Supports: Eight (8) pine beam supports, each at least 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in), will be crafted with diamond‑tipped custom knives to add decorative motifs. Support heights are 240 cm (94.5 in). Roof: Roof support slats will be made from 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) timber, milled at two corners for shape. The slats will be fastened with wood screws to a wooden veneer or fiber backing. Zinc‑coated nails with broad heads will attach waterproof membranes, and the roof will be covered with American cedar‑shingle style roofing material (shingles). The front board section will use 30 × 130 mm (1.2 x 5.1 in) slats, also cut with diamond‑tipped knives and attached to the roof slats with galvanized wood screws. The roof frame will be built from eight (8) 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) slats, each cut at specific angles and shaped with diamond‑tipped knives, connecting the main support to the front board. All fixed connections will use stainless‑steel wood screws; galvanized wood screws will be employed where the main support meets the roof. Upper Panels: Upper guardrail width is 35 cm (13.8 in). Guardrail frames are 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) timber, sanded on all sides, cut with diamond‑tipped knives, and edged with decorative detailing. Frames are mounted to the main support with galvanized wood screws. Intermediate decorative pieces are made from 40 × 50 mm (1.6 x 2 in) timber and attached with galvanized screws. Lower Panels (Guardrail): Lower guardrail height is 75 cm (29.5 in). Frames are the same 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) sanded, diamond‑cut timber, mounted with galvanized screws. The 40 × 50 mm (1.6 x 2 in) decorative pieces are shaped with diamond‑tipped knives and affixed with galvanized screws and clear wood glue. Seating Unit: The seating unit consists of eight (8) wooden legs, each at least 4 × 9 cm (1.6 x 3.5 in), attached to the support structure at one end and to the seating slats at the other. Four (4) decorated wooden slats per side are secured with galvanized screws. Anchoring: Flanges (18 × 13 × 3 mm (0.7 x 0.5 x 0.1 in)) will be welded to the bottom of each support leg, with 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) pads drilled for anchor bolts. Each pad will have three 6 mm (0.2 in) screw holes. Anchors are bolted to the supports and to the ground with steel dowels, preventing water contact with the wood and securing the legs. Gazebo anchoring plates (minimum 2.5 mm (0.1 in) thick) will be welded to at least two sides of each flange. Six (6) special screws per leg will connect the anchorage to the verticals, and two (2) dowel screws per leg will secure the anchorage to the ground. All metal components will be powder‑coated with a polyester finish and baked for durability.
