It is semi‑permeable, softening, and highly durable, offering low cost and high resistance, making it popular in industry. Based on density and chemical properties, polyethylene is classified into different categories. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystalline structure, and branching type. Although characteristics vary by type, it generally provides good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene components are used to manufacture slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The material thickness should be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for parts exposed to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for barrier or shade structures not subjected to pressure. Material distribution must be uniform, and thickness tolerance is ±5%. Carrier Construction Steel tubes with a minimum diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in) are cold‑formed according to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards, welded by high‑frequency welding, and produced within standard tolerances. The tubes are powder‑coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint after sandblasting. Electrostatic Powder Paint Process All metal parts are first sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Then, a fine bead material is sprayed with pressurized air to open pores and clean the metal surface. After coating with polyester‑based electrostatic paint, the parts are cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Following metal fabrication, parts undergo a 10‑minute, 70 °C, 5% concentration degreasing bath, then a 15‑minute, 50 °C, 1% concentration iron‑phosphate bath, followed by rinsing and drying. Finally, the entire product is coated with a durable polyester‑based powder paint in an outdoor‑ready electrostatic system and baked at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes. Weld seams are painted in one continuous coat to prevent corrosion.
