POLYETHYLENE PRODUCTS Low‑density linear polyethylene (LLDPE) is a thermoplastic used in various products. It is a semi‑permeable, pliable, and highly durable polymer with low cost and high resistance, making it popular in industry. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching. Common traits include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, modest mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used to manufacture slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. Wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) where the material is subject to pressure or friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for non‑load‑bearing barrier or shade components. Overall dimensional tolerance is ±5%. CARRIER CONSTRUCTION The supporting structure consists of round‑section steel tubes manufactured by cold forming in accordance with TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards, with a minimum outer diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in). These tubes are welded by high‑frequency welding and painted with polyester‑based electrostatic powder coating applied in a furnace. ELECTROSTATIC POWDER COATING All metal components are first blasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. The coating process uses fine metal beads sprayed with pressurized air to open micro‑pores, followed by application of polyester‑based electrostatic powder. The coated parts are then cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. After manufacturing, metal parts undergo a 10‑minute 70 °C oil‑removal bath (5 % solution), then a 15‑minute 50 °C iron‑dip bath (1 % solution), followed by rinsing and drying. Finally, the components are baked again at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes to ensure a durable finish. All welds are fully masked and painted as a single coat to prevent corrosion.
