Wood sections will be cut to a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and overall dimensions to a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). Required wood quality includes: - Knots: Up to four solid knots per meter, each knot diameter will not exceed one‑quarter of the piece width. No rotten, split, partially fused, or fallen knots are permitted. - Cracks: No ring cracks. Fine hairline cracks (1–2 mm (0-0.1 in)) may be present, as well as pressure‑treated cracks within specification tolerances. - Resin pockets: No longer than 10 cm (3.9 in) per meter, with a maximum of one per meter. No leaking or sucking resin, inner bark, rot cavities, or insect holes are allowed. Manufacturing defects are not permitted; only deviations within the stated tolerances are acceptable. - Bending: Deflection will not exceed 1/50 of the piece length. - Impact: Marks will not exceed 1/100 of the piece width. - Twisting: No more than 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter of length. - Edge bending: Tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the piece length. - Sanding: All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth and free of splinters. The wood will be finished with a white lacquer. Main Supports: Support legs will be fabricated from eight pieces of pine timber, each at least 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in), cut with diamond‑tipped specialty knives to add decorative motifs. The support legs will be 240 cm (94.5 in) tall. Roof: The roof’s load‑bearing joists will be made from 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) pine. Two corners of each joist will be routed for shaping. The joist tops will be fastened with wooden veneer or fiber material. Zift‑treated membranes will be attached with wide‑head special nails, followed by American cedar‑shingle style roofing material secured with the same nails. The fascia board will use pine joists of at least 30 × 130 mm (1.2 x 5.1 in), also cut with diamond‑tipped knives and mounted to the roof joists with galvanized wood screws. The roof framing will consist of eight 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) joists, each end cut at specific angles and shaped with diamond‑tipped knives, connecting the main support to the fascia board. All fixed connections will use stainless‑steel wood screws. Galvanized wood screws will be used for the main support‑to‑roof connections. Upper Panels: The upper railings are 35 cm (13.8 in) wide. Railing frames are 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in), sanded on all sides and hand‑finished with diamond‑tipped knives. They will be attached to the main support with galvanized wood screws. Intermediate decorative pieces are 40 × 50 mm (1.6 x 2 in) pine, also mounted with galvanized screws. Lower Panels (Railings): The lower railing height is 75 cm (29.5 in). Frames are 50 × 70 mm (2 x 2.8 in), sanded and hand‑finished with diamond‑tipped knives, and mounted to the main support with galvanized wood screws. Intermediate decorative pieces are made from veneer pine and will be installed with galvanized screws and a clear specialty wood adhesive. Anchoring: Under each support leg a 18 × 13 × 3 mm (0.7 x 0.5 x 0.1 in) flange will be welded to a 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate; two anchor holes will be drilled in a 13 × 8 × 3 mm (0.5 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate, and three 6 mm (0.2 in) screw holes will be drilled in each 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate. Anchors will be mounted to the leg bases with screws and secured to the ground using steel dowels, preventing water contact with the wood and providing stable footings. Gazebo anchors will be fabricated from at least 2.5 mm (0.1 in) thick flanges, welded on both sides, and bolted with six specialized screws per leg. Two dowel screws will be added per leg for ground attachment. All metal components will be powder‑coated with a polyester‑based paint and baked for durability.
