Seating Area: 300 x 400 cm (118 x 157 in) Roof Area: 370 x 470 cm (146 x 185 in) Height: 330 cm (130 in) Wood Specifications: The wood material used for manufacture will be first‑grade Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections will be cut with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). Required wood characteristics include: Knot: Up to four solid knots per meter; knot diameters will not exceed one‑quarter of the piece width. No rot, decay, partially fused or fallen knots. Crack: No ring cracks; micro‑cracks (1–2 mm (0-0.1 in)) may be present. Pressure‑treated wood may have surface longitudinal and transverse cracks within tolerance limits. Resin pockets: No more than one per meter, not exceeding 10 cm (3.9 in) in length. No leaking or pulling resin, inner bark, rot cavities, or insect holes. Manufacturing defects are excluded; only permissible tolerances apply. Flexure: Deflection will not exceed 1/50 of the member length; impact shall not exceed 1/100 of the member width. Torsion: No more than 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter of length. Bow flexion: Deflection between 1/50 and 1/100 of member length is tolerated. Sanding: All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth. Main Carriers: Four carrier legs will be made from 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in) pine lumber, cut with diamond‑tipped special blades and provided with a motif. Legs will be 240 cm (94.5 in) high. Roof: Roof carrier slats will be made from 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) wood, with two corners routed for shaping. The slats will be fastened with wood‑on‑wood pressure‑treated lamella or fiber material. Zinc‑coated nails with broad heads will attach plywood membranes, then American shingle roofing (also called “shingle”) will be installed. The fascia board will use 30 × 130 mm (1.2 x 5.1 in) slats with diamond‑tipped blades, attached to the roof slats with galvanized wood screws. The roof frame will be built with eight 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) slats, each end cut at specific angles and shaped with diamond‑tipped blades, connecting the carrier to the fascia. All fixed connections will use stainless‑steel wood screws; the main carrier‑to‑roof connections will use special galvanized wood screws. Pigeon Loft: The loft height is 450 mm (17.7 in), with roof slats made from 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) wood. Additional 30 × 15 mm (1.2 x 0.6 in) wood strips will be installed between 30 mm (1.2 in)‑spaced 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) upper and lower wood members. The slats will be fastened with shiplap wood lamella, zinc‑coated nails, and covered with shingle roofing featuring a clover‑leaf pattern. The eaves will use 90 × 20 mm (3.5 x 0.8 in) wood shaped with diamond‑tipped blades. Lower Panels (Railing): The lower railing height is 75 cm (29.5 in). Railing frames are 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) lumber, sanded on all sides and edged with diamond‑tipped blades. Frames will be mounted to the main carrier with galvanized wood screws. Intermediate motifs are 40 × 50 mm (1.6 x 2 in) diamond‑cut wood pieces, installed with galvanized screws and clear special wood glue. Six pieces of at least 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in) wood will be used for doors (two per door). Seating Unit: The seating unit consists of nine L‑shaped wood legs, at least 4 × 9 cm (1.6 x 3.5 in), each anchored at one end to the carrier and at the other end to the seating slats. Four diamond‑tipped, motif‑carving blades shape each slat, which are fastened with special galvanized screws. Anchorage: Flanges measuring 18 × 13 × 3 mm (0.7 x 0.5 x 0.1 in) will be welded with 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) washers; two holes for dowels or anchor bolts will be drilled into a 13 × 8 × 3 mm (0.5 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate, and three 6 mm (0.2 in) screw holes will be made in each 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate. Anchors will be bolted to the carrier legs and connected to the floor with steel dowels, preventing water contact with the wood and securing the legs. Gazebo anchors will be welded on at least two sides of the 2.5 mm (0.1 in) thick flange. Six special screws will be installed per leg for the structural connection, and two doweled screws per leg for the ground connection. All metal parts will be powder‑coated with a polyester‑based finish.
