Wood Specifications: The structure will be built from 1st‑grade yellow pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections are cut to a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and dimensions to a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). Each meter may contain up to four solid knots, never exceeding one‑quarter of the piece width. No rot, defects, partially fused or fallen knots are allowed. No ring cracks; fine hairline cracks (1‑2 mm (0.1 in)) are permissible within tolerance. Pressure‑treated resin pockets may appear up to 10 cm (3.9 in) in length, with a maximum of one per meter, but no dripping or sucking resin, inner bark, rot pockets, or insect holes are permitted. Manufacturing defects are excluded; only tolerances may cause deviations. Bending may not exceed 1⁄50 of the member length, and impact marks not more than 1⁄100 of the width. Twist is limited to 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter. Deflection is tolerated between 1⁄50 and 1⁄100 of the member length. All visible surfaces are sanded smooth. Main Supports: Four support legs are fabricated from 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in) pine lumber with diamond‑cut motifs. Leg height is 240 cm (94.5 in). Roof Structure: Supporting roof beams are 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) wood, milled at both ends and covered with wooden cladding or fiber panels, then fastened with wide‑head special nails and shingle roofing (American cedar shingle). The eave board uses 30 × 130 mm (1.2 x 5.1 in) diamond‑cut wood, attached with galvanized screws. Roof connection components consist of eight 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) beams, each end cut at specific angles and shaped with diamond‑cut tools, forming a frame that ties the main support to the eave board. All fixed connections use stainless steel wood screws; galvanized wood screws are used for support‑to‑roof joints. Pigeon Loft: The loft stands 450 mm (17.7 in) high, with roof beams made from 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) wood, plus 30 × 15 mm (1.2 x 0.6 in) slats spaced 30 mm (1.2 in) apart between upper and lower wood members. The slats are fastened with wooden lamellae, covered with bitumen membranes and wide‑head nails, then shingled with a clover‑leaf pattern. Eave boards are 90 × 20 mm (3.5 x 0.8 in) wood shaped with a diamond‑cut motif knife. Lower Panels (Railing): The lower railing is 75 cm (29.5 in) high and built from 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) sanded wood with diamond‑cut edges. Railing frames are secured to the main supports with galvanized wood screws. Intermediate motifs are 40 × 50 mm (1.6 x 2 in) diamond‑cut wood pieces, attached with galvanized screws and clear wood glue. Six 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in) wooden posts are used for the gate (two per side). Seating Unit: The seating unit includes nine 4 × 9 cm (1.6 x 3.5 in) L‑shaped wooden legs, each attached at one end to the support and at the other to the seat frame. Four diamond‑cut wooden seat rails per side are fastened with galvanized screws. Anchor System: Under each support leg a 18 × 13 × 3 mm (0.7 x 0.5 x 0.1 in) flange will be welded to a 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate, which will be drilled for two anchor bolts (13 × 8 × 3 mm (0.5 x 0.3 x 0.1 in)) and three 6 mm (0.2 in) holes. Anchors are bolted to the legs and to the concrete floor with steel dowels, protecting the wood from moisture and securing the legs. Flanges are welded with a minimum 2.5 mm (0.1 in) overlap on both sides. Each leg receives six special screws for the anchor connection and two dowel screws for floor attachment. All metal components are powder‑coated with a polyester finish.
