Seating Area: 400 × 400 cm (157 x 157 in) Roof Area: 470 × 470 cm (185 x 185 in) Height: 300 cm (118 in) Wood Specifications: The gazebo will be constructed from 1st‑class Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections will be cut with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and dimensions will be limited to a tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). Each piece may contain up to four sound knots; the total diameter of knots will not exceed one‑quarter of the part’s width. No rotten, split, or fallen knots will be present. No ring cracks are allowed; fine hairline cracks (1–2 mm (0-0.1 in)) may occur, as well as pressure‑treated cracks within tolerance limits. Resin pockets will be no longer than 10 cm (3.9 in), with at most one per piece, and will be free of dripping or sucking resin. No inner core, rot cavities, or insect holes are permitted. Manufacturing defects are not allowed, only the specified tolerances may cause deviations. Deflection will not exceed 1⁄50 of the member length, and impacts will stay within 1⁄100 of the member width. Twist per meter will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in). Bending of the shaft will be tolerated between 1⁄50 and 1⁄100 of the member length. All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth. Main Supports: Four support legs will be made from 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in) pine lumber, shaped with diamond‑pointed special knives. Each leg will be 240 cm (94.5 in) tall. Roof: The roof’s carrying ribs will be fabricated from 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) wood, with two corners routed for shape. The ribs will be covered with wood‑grade cladding or fiber material and screwed in place. Zinc‑plated nails with wide heads will attach tar‑coated membranes, followed by American cedar‑shingle roofing secured with the same nails. Additional 30 × 130 mm (1.2 x 5.1 in) decorative laths, also cut with diamond‑pointed knives, will be fastened to the roof ribs using galvanized wood screws. The roof frame will be built from eight 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) laths, each end cut at specific angles and shaped with diamond‑pointed knives, connecting the main supports to the roof deck. All fixed connections will use stainless‑steel wood screws; the main‑support‑to‑roof connections will employ specially galvanized wood screws. Lower Panels (Railings): The lower railing height is 75 cm (29.5 in). Railing frames are 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) wood, sanded on all sides and beveled with diamond‑pointed knives. They will be mounted to the main supports with galvanized wood screws. Intermediate decorative pieces, sized 40 × 50 mm (1.6 x 2 in), are also cut with diamond‑pointed knives and attached with galvanized screws and clear specialty wood glue. The gate will use five 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in) wooden posts (two for the gate and one on each side). Seating Unit: The seating unit consists of nine 4 × 9 cm (1.6 x 3.5 in) L‑shaped wooden legs, each attached at one end to the main support and at the other end to the seating slats. Four decorative wood slats, shaped with diamond‑pointed knives, will be screwed to the seat frame using galvanized screws. Anchoring: Under each support leg, a 18 × 13 × 3 mm (0.7 x 0.5 x 0.1 in) flange will be welded with a 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate; two anchor holes will be drilled in a 13 × 8 × 3 mm (0.5 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate, and three 6 mm (0.2 in) screw holes will be added to each 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate. Anchors will be installed with screws into the flange and secured to the ground with steel dowels, preventing wood contact with water and providing stable footing. Gazebo anchors will be welded on at least two sides of the flange, with a minimum 2.5 mm (0.1 in) weld thickness. Each leg will receive six specialty screws for the vertical connection and two dowel screws for the ground connection. All metal components will be powder‑coated with polyester‑based paint and baked for durability.
