Wood sections will be cut to a maximum tolerance of ± 2 mm (0.1 in), and overall dimensions to a maximum tolerance of ± 20 mm (0.8 in). Required wood quality includes: - Knots: Up to four solid knots per meter, with total knot diameter not exceeding one‑quarter of the part width. No rotten, split, partially fused, or fallen knots. - Cracks: No ring cracks; fine hairline cracks (1‑2 mm (0.1 in)) are acceptable, as are pressure‑treated cracks within tolerance limits. - Resin Pockets: One pocket per meter, not exceeding 10 cm (3.9 in) in length. No leaking or pulling resin, inner bark, rot holes, or insect borings. - Manufacturing defects are excluded; only permitted tolerances apply. - Bending: Deflection will not exceed 1/50 of the member length. - Impact: Impact marks will not exceed 1/100 of the member width. - Twisting: Twist will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter of length. - Edge Bending: Edge deflection tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the member length. - Sanding: All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth. Main Supports: Support legs will be crafted from pine timber at least 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in), cut with diamond‑tipped knives and bearing a decorative motif. The legs will be 240 cm (94.5 in) high. Roof Structure: Roof beams will be made from 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) wood, milled on two corners and finished with wood‑grade laminate or fiber panels fastened with screws. Zilt‑coated membranes will be installed with wide‑head specialty nails, followed by shingle roofing (American cedar‑shingle) secured with the same nails. The eave board will use 30 × 130 mm (1.2 x 5.1 in) decorative timber, mounted with galvanized wood screws. All fixed connections will use stainless‑steel wood screws; connections between the main supports and the roof will employ special galvanized wood screws. Upper Panels: Upper railings are 35 cm (13.8 in) wide. Railing frames are 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in), sanded on all sides and cut with diamond‑tipped knives. They will be mounted to the main supports with galvanized wood screws, with additional decorative timber pieces fastened similarly. Lower Panels (Railing): Lower railing height is 75 cm (29.5 in). Frames are also 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in), sanded and cut with diamond‑tipped knives, and attached to the main supports with galvanized wood screws. Additional decorative timber pieces (40 × 50 mm (1.6 x 2 in)) will be installed with galvanized screws. The gate will use two pieces of pine timber at least 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in). Seating Unit: The seating unit comprises nine L‑shaped wooden legs (minimum 4 × 9 cm (1.6 x 3.5 in)), each attached at one end to the main support and at the other to a seating beam using four galvanized wood screws per leg. Twelve seating beams (minimum 4 × 9 cm (1.6 x 3.5 in), 300 cm (118 in) long) and eight shorter beams (minimum 4 × 9 cm (1.6 x 3.5 in), 100 cm (39.4 in) long) will be shaped with diamond‑tipped knives and secured with galvanized screws. Anchoring: A flange (18 × 13 × 3 mm (0.7 x 0.5 x 0.1 in)) will be welded to the bottom of each support leg, with a 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) washer on top. Two anchor holes will be drilled in a 13 × 8 × 3 mm (0.5 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate, and three 6 mm (0.2 in) screw holes will be drilled in each 15 × 8 mm (0.6 x 0.3 in) plate. Anchors will be bolted to the legs with screws and to the ground via steel dowels. This prevents water contact with the wood and ensures stable foot placement. Gazebo anchors will be fabricated from 2.5 mm (0.1 in) thick flange material, welded on at least two sides, and secured with six specialty screws per leg. Ground connections will use two dowelled screws per leg. All metal components are powder‑coated with a polyester‑based finish.
