Wood sections will be fabricated with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and dimensions with a tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). The wood material must meet the following criteria: Knots – up to four solid knots per meter, each knot diameter not exceeding one‑quarter of the total piece width; No rot, defects, partially fused or dropped knots. Cracks – no ring cracks; hairline cracks (1‑2 mm (0.1 in)) are permitted. Pressure‑treated specifications may allow head and longitudinal cracks within tolerance limits. Resin pockets – up to one per meter, not longer than 10 cm (3.9 in); no dripping or pulling resin, no inner shell, decay cavities, or insect holes. Manufacturing defects are not allowed beyond the defined tolerances. Bending – will not exceed 1/50 of the piece length. Impact – will not exceed 1/100 of the piece width. Twisting – will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter length. Flex in the saw – tolerances between 1/50 and 1/100 of the piece length. Sanding – all visible surfaces will be sanded smooth and painted with white lacquer. Main Supports: Support posts will be made from four 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in) spruce timber pieces cut with diamond‑tipped special knives. The height of the support posts will be 240 cm (94.5 in). Roof: The gazebo’s roof frame will be constructed from 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) wooden beams. Two corners of each beam will be routed for shape. The beams will be fastened with wooden pressure‑treated clapboard or fiber material. Shingles (American kerfboard) will be installed using wide‑head special nails over a zinc‑coated membrane. Additional 30 × 130 mm (1.2 x 5.1 in) wooden batten with diamond‑cut motifs will be attached to the roof beam with galvanized screws. The roof connection will use eight 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) beams cut at specific angles and shaped with diamond‑tipped knives to form the roof truss. All fixed connections will be made with stainless steel wood screws or polymer adhesive; galvanized wood screws will be used for the main support‑to‑roof connections. Anchoring: Under each support post, a 18 × 13 × 3 mm (0.7 x 0.5 x 0.1 in) flange will be welded to a 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate; two anchor holes will be drilled in a 13 × 8 × 3 mm (0.5 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate, and three 6 mm (0.2 in) clearance holes will be drilled in each 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate. Anchors will be bolted to the supports and tied to the floor with steel dowels, protecting the wood from water contact and securing the posts. Gazebo anchors will be welded to at least two sides of the flange with a minimum 2.5 mm (0.1 in) weld bead. Six special screws will be inserted per post for the connection to the vertical members, and two dowelled screws per post for the floor attachment. All metal components will be powder‑coated with a polyester‑based paint in a furnace.
