Wood sections will be cut with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and wood dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). Acceptable wood features include: knots – up to four solid knots per meter, each knot not exceeding one‑quarter of the piece width; no rot, decay, partially fused or missing knots. No ring cracks. Fine hairline cracks (1‑2 mm (0.1 in)) may be present. Pressure‑treated cracks meeting specification tolerances may appear. Resin pockets: at most one per meter, not exceeding 10 cm (3.9 in) in length. No leaking or pulling resin, no inner bark, no rot cavities, no insect holes. Manufacturing defects are not allowed; only permitted tolerances may cause deviations. Bending will not exceed 1/50 of the piece length. Impact will not exceed 1/100 of the piece width. Twisting will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter of length. Flexure to the grain is tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the piece length. Sanding: all visible surfaces will be sanded smooth. Primary Supports: Support legs will be made from eight pieces of pine lumber, each at least 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in), cut with diamond‑tipped special knives and given a motif. The legs will be 240 cm (94.5 in) high. Roof: The roof framing of the gazebo will be constructed from 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) wooden joists. Two corners of each joist will be routed for shaping. The joists will be fastened with wood‑on‑wood nails or fiber material. A zinc‑coated membrane will be attached with wide‑head special nails, followed by shingle roofing (American cedar shingles). The eaves board will use motif‑cut wooden strips (minimum 30 × 130 mm (1.2 x 5.1 in)) secured with galvanized wood screws. The roof connection will use eight 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) joists, each end cut at specific angles and shaped with diamond‑tipped knives, forming a roof truss attached to the support and eave board. All fixed connections will use stainless‑steel wood screws; connections between the main supports and the roof will use special galvanized wood screws. Pigeon Loft: The loft height is 450 mm (17.7 in). Roof joists for the loft will be made from 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) wood, with additional 30 × 15 mm (1.2 x 0.6 in) wooden slats placed 30 mm (1.2 in) apart between the upper and lower joists. The joists will be screwed with sheltered wooden lambris, covered with zinc‑coated membrane and wide‑head nails, then shingled as above. The eave board will use 90 × 20 mm (3.5 x 0.8 in) wooden pieces shaped with a diamond‑tipped motif knife. Upper Panels: Upper railings are 40 cm (15.7 in) wide. Railing frames are 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) pieces of wood, sanded on all sides and edge‑finished with diamond‑tipped knives. They will be mounted to the main supports with galvanized wood screws. Intermediate motifs are 40 × 50 mm (1.6 x 2 in) wood pieces cut with diamond‑tipped motif knives and attached with galvanized screws. Lower Panels (Railings): Lower railing height is 75 cm (29.5 in). Railing frames are 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) sanded wood, edge‑finished with diamond‑tipped knives, and mounted to the main supports with galvanized wood screws. Intermediate motifs are 40 × 50 mm (1.6 x 2 in) wood pieces cut with diamond‑tipped motif knives, attached with galvanized screws and transparent wood glue. Seating Unit: The seating unit consists of eight wooden L‑shaped legs (minimum 4 × 9 cm (1.6 x 3.5 in)). One end of each leg is attached to the support, the other to the seating frame, with four motif‑cut wooden slats per side fastened with galvanized screws. Anchoring: Flanges (18 × 13 × 3 mm (0.7 x 0.5 x 0.1 in)) will be welded to a 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate, with two anchor holes drilled in a 13 × 8 × 3 mm (0.5 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate, and three 6 mm (0.2 in) screw holes in each 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate. Anchors will be bolted to the support legs and to the floor with steel dowels, preventing wood contact with water and ensuring stable mounting. Gazebo anchors will be welded with a minimum 2.5 mm (0.1 in) fillet. Six special screws will be installed per leg for connection to the uprights, and two dowel screws per leg for floor attachment. All metal components will be powder‑coated with a polyester‑based finish.
