Polyethylene Products: Low- or medium-density linear polyethylene (LLDPE – Linear Low-Density Polyethylene) is a thermoplastic used in various products. It is a semi-permeable, pliable, and highly durable polymer that is favored in industry due to its low cost and high resistance. Polyethylene is classified into categories based on density and chemical properties. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. Although properties vary by grade, common characteristics include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene products are used in the manufacture of slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring polyethylene must have a lightfastness test value of 6 or higher. Product wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) where the material is exposed to pressure and friction, and a minimum of 4 mm (0.2 in) for barrier and shading applications that are not subjected to pressure. Material distribution must be uniform, yielding consistent thickness. Wall thickness and dimension tolerances are ±5 %. Carrier Construction: Steel tubes with a minimum 114 mm (4.5 in) diameter and a minimum 2 mm (0.1 in) wall thickness, cold‑formed in accordance with TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards, and welded by high‑frequency welding, will be produced within the standard tolerance, dimension, and cross‑section ranges. These carrier tubes will be painted by sandblasting followed by a polyester‑based electrostatic powder‑coat furnace cure. Electrostatic Powder Coating: All metal components will be blasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine bead material will be sprayed with pressurized air to open pores and remove contaminants. After fabrication, metal parts will be coated with polyester‑based electrostatic paint and cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Subsequently, parts will undergo a 10‑minute dip in a 70 °C, 5 % concentration degreasing bath, followed by a 15‑minute dip in a 50 °C, 1 % iron bath. After rinsing and drying, the components will receive a durable polyester powder coat applied outdoors and baked at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes. Weld seams will be fully painted after welding to prevent corrosion.
