Polyethylene Products Linear low‑density polyethylene (LLDPE) is a thermoplastic used in a wide range of applications. It is a semi‑permeable, pliable, and highly durable polymer that offers low cost and high resistance, making it a popular choice in industry. Polyethylene is classified into categories based on density and chemical characteristics. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. While specific properties vary, the material generally provides good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, modest mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene components are used to manufacture slides, ladders, handrails, barriers, accessories, roofs, and more. To prevent color fading, masterbatch dyes used for coloring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. Wall thickness: areas subjected to pressure and friction require a minimum of 6 mm (0.2 in); products used solely as barriers or shading that are not exposed to pressure require a minimum of 4 mm (0.2 in). Material distribution must be uniform to achieve consistent thickness. Dimensional tolerance for wall thickness and overall measurements is ±5%. Carrier Construction The carrier frame consists of round‑section steel tubes with a minimum diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in). Tubes are cold‑formed to comply with TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, and DIN 2394 standards, welded by high‑frequency welding, and produced within the standard tolerances for size and cross‑section. The tubes are sandblasted and then coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint. Electrostatic Powder Coating Process All metal parts are first sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine steel beads are then sprayed with compressed air to further open pores and clean the metal surface. After sandblasting, the components are coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in a 200–220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Following fabrication, metal components undergo a 10‑minute oil‑removal bath at 70 °C (5 % concentration), then a 15‑minute phosphating bath at 50 °C (1 % concentration). After rinsing and drying, the parts are again coated with the electrostatic powder and cured in a 180–200 °C oven for 20–30 minutes. All welds are painted as a single coat after welding to ensure complete corrosion protection.
