Low‑density linear polyethylene (LLDPE – Linear Low Density Polyethylene) is a thermoplastic used in a variety of products. It is a semi‑permeable, softable, and highly durable polymer that is widely preferred in industry because of its low cost and high resistance. Polyethylene is classified into different categories based on density and chemical characteristics. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. While properties differ by grade, it generally provides good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene products are used in the manufacture of slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch dyes used for coloring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. Product wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) at points exposed to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for barriers and shading components that are not subjected to pressure. The material must be evenly distributed to ensure uniform thickness. Wall thickness and dimensional tolerances are ±5 %. CARRIER CONSTRUCTION Minimum 114 mm (4.5 in) diameter steel tubes with a minimum 2 mm (0.1 in) wall thickness, cold‑formed in compliance with TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394, and welded by high‑frequency welding, will be produced within the standard tolerances, dimensions, and cross‑section ranges. The carrier construction consists of these steel tubes that are sandblasted and then painted with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder coat. ELECTROSTATIC POWDER COATING All metal parts will be sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface that improves paint adhesion. Fine steel beads will be sprayed with pressurized air to open micro‑pores and eliminate contaminants on the metal surface. After fabrication, the metal components will be coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. After fabrication, the metal parts will undergo a 10‑minute rinse in a 70 °C bath with 5 % degreasing solution, followed by a 15‑minute soak in a 50 °C bath with 1 % iron pick‑ling solution. Subsequent rinsing and drying steps will be performed. The components will then be coated with a durable polyester‑based electrostatic powder suitable for outdoor use and cured in a 180‑200 °C oven for 20‑30 minutes. All welds will be completely painted after welding to prevent corrosion.
