Polyethylene Products Linear low‑density polyethylene (LLDPE) is a thermoplastic used in various applications. It is a semi‑permeable, soft‑able and highly durable polymer that is favored in industry for its low cost and high resistance. Polyethylene is classified into different categories based on density and chemical properties. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure and branching type. Although properties vary by grade, typical characteristics include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene components are used in the production of slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent colour fading, masterbatch colourants used for colouring polyethylene must have a light‑fastness test value of 6 or higher. The product wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for areas subjected to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for barrier and shading items that are not exposed to pressure. Material distribution must be uniform, creating an even thickness. Product wall thickness and dimensional tolerances are ±5 %. Carrier Construction The carrier construction consists of circular‑section steel tubes, cold‑formed in accordance with TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards, with a minimum diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in). Tubes are welded by high‑frequency welding and produced within the standard tolerance, size and cross‑section ranges. The tubes are then coated by sandblasting followed by a polyester‑based electrostatic powder‑coat applied in a powder‑coat oven. Electrostatic Powder‑Coat Process All metal parts are first sandblasted to remove oil, dirt and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine metal beads are then sprayed with pressurised air to open pores and clean the metal surface. After fabrication, the steel components are coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Post‑Coating Treatment After fabrication, all metal parts undergo a 10‑minute oil‑removal bath at 70 °C with a 5 % solution, followed by a 15‑minute iron‑dip bath at 50 °C with a 1 % solution. They are then rinsed, dried, and finally cured in an outdoor‑rated polyester powder‑coat oven at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes. To prevent corrosion at welds, the entire assembled product is painted as a single piece after welding.
