Polyethylene Products Linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) is a thermoplastic used in various products. It is a semi‑permeable, pliable, and highly durable polymer, and its low cost and high resistance make it widely preferred in industry. Polyethylene is classified into categories based on density and chemical properties. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. Although properties vary with type, overall it offers good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene products are used to manufacture slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch dyes used for coloring polyethylene must have a light fastness test value of 6 or higher. The wall thickness of products that are subjected to pressure and friction must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in); for barriers and shading components that are not exposed to pressure, a minimum of 4 mm (0.2 in) is required. Material distribution must be uniform to achieve consistent thickness. Product wall thicknesses and dimensional tolerances are ±5 %. Carrier Construction Steel tubes with a circular cross‑section, minimum 114 mm (4.5 in) diameter and at least 2 mm (0.1 in) wall thickness, will be cold‑formed in accordance with TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards and welded by high‑frequency welding, manufactured within the tolerances, dimensions, and section ranges specified in the standard. These carrier tubes are painted by sandblasting them and then applying a polyester‑based electrostatic powder coat. Electrostatic Powder Coat All metal components will be sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine steel shot will be propelled with compressed air to open pores and remove contaminants before coating. After fabrication, metal parts will be coated with polyester‑based electrostatic paint and cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Following fabrication, components will be rinsed in a 10‑minute, 70 °C, 5 % oil‑removal bath, then immersed for 15 minutes in a 50 °C, 1 % iron bath. After a final rinse and drying, the material will be coated with a durable polyester‑based powder paint and cured in an 180‑200 °C oven for 20‑30 minutes. All welds will be fully painted after welding to prevent corrosion.
