Polyethylene Products Linear low‑density polyethylene (LLDPE) is a thermoplastic used in a variety of products. It is a semi‑permeable, pliable and highly durable polymer that is widely favored in industry because of its low cost and high resistance. Polyethylene is classified into categories based on density and chemical properties. Its mechanical characteristics depend on molecular weight, crystalline structure and branching type. While properties vary by grade, overall it offers good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene components are used to manufacture slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofing, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used to color polyethylene must have a lightfastness value of 6 or higher. Wall thickness must be a minimum of 6 mm (0.2 in) in areas subjected to pressure or friction, and a minimum of 4 mm (0.2 in) for barriers and shading elements that are not pressure‑exposed. Material must be evenly distributed to achieve uniform thickness. Wall‑thickness and dimensional tolerance is ±5 %. Carrier Construction The carrier structure will consist of round‑section steel tubes cold‑formed to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards, with a minimum outer diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in). Tubes will be welded using high‑frequency welding and produced within the standard tolerance, size and cross‑section ranges. The tubes are then powder‑coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint applied in a furnace. Electrostatic Powder Paint All metal parts will be prepared for painting by sandblasting to remove oil, dirt and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine steel beads inside a pressure‑resistant cabin will be sprayed with compressed air to open micro‑pores and remove contaminants from the metal surface. After fabrication, the metal components will be coated with polyester‑based electrostatic paint and cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Subsequently, each component will be rinsed in a 70 °C, 5 % degreasing bath for 10 minutes, followed by a 50 °C, 1 % iron pickling bath for 15 minutes, then rinsed again and dried. The final coating is applied with a weather‑resistant polyester powder paint and cured in a 180‑200 °C oven for 20‑30 minutes. All welds will be fully painted after welding to prevent corrosion.
