Polyethylene Products Linear low‑density polyethylene (LLDPE) is a thermoplastic used in various products. It is a semi‑permeable, pliable, and highly durable polymer that is favored in industry for its low cost and high resistance. Based on density and chemical properties, polyethylene is classified into several categories. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystalline structure, and branching type. While properties vary by grade, the material generally offers good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene products are used to manufacture slide, ladder, guardrail, barrier, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring polyethylene must have a light fastness rating of 6 or higher. The wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) where the material is subjected to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for products intended as barriers or shade structures that are not pressure‑exposed. Material distribution must be uniform, creating consistent thickness. Wall‑thickness and dimension tolerances are ±5%. Carrier Construction The carrier assembly will be made from circular‑section steel tubes produced by cold forming in accordance with TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards, with a minimum outer diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in). The tubes are welded by high‑frequency welding and painted with polyester‑based electrostatic powder coating applied in a furnace. Electrostatic Powder Coating All metal parts are first sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine steel shot is then sprayed with compressed air to open micro‑pores, further cleaning the metal. After fabrication, the parts are coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Subsequently, the metal components undergo a 10‑minute dip in a 70 °C, 5 % concentration degreasing bath, followed by a 15‑minute dip in a 50 °C, 1 % iron bath. After rinsing and drying, the entire assembly is painted in a single coat and baked at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes to ensure a durable finish. All welds are protected from corrosion by applying the final coating after welding.
