Seating Area: 144 x 50 cm (56.7 x 19.7 in) Height: 95 cm (37.4 in) Wood Features: The wood material for manufacturing will be 1st Grade Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections will be manufactured with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and wood dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in), according to the project. The wood material must have the following characteristics: Knots – each meter may contain up to 4 sound knots. Knot diameters will not exceed one‑quarter of the total piece width. No rot, no insect damage, no partially split or fallen knots. Cracks – no ring cracks; microscopic cracks (1‑2 mm (0.1 in)) may be present. Pressure‑treated conditions may allow head and side cracks within tolerance limits. Resin pockets – length will not exceed 10 cm (3.9 in) per meter, maximum one per meter. No dripping or pulling resin. No inner bark, no rot cavities, no insect holes. No manufacturing defects; only deviations within specified tolerances. Deflection – will not exceed 1/50 of the piece length. Impact – will not exceed 1/100 of the piece width. Twist – will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter length. Edge deflection – will be tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the piece length. Sanding – all visible surfaces will be sanded smooth. Wood Carriers: Carrier legs will be made from pine lumber at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in), shaped with diamond‑tipped specialty knives and bearing a motif. Seating Unit: The seating units have a seat width of 30 cm (11.8 in), length of 140 cm (55.1 in), and seat height of 45 cm (17.7 in). The seating unit’s carrier parts will be made from pine lumber at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in), fashioned with diamond‑tipped specialty knives and a motif. For each seating unit, six pieces of wood at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) will be used, and for the backrest four pieces of wood at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) will be mounted to the carrier wood parts with special galvanized screws.
