No rot, split, or fallen knots are permitted. - Cracks: no ring cracks; micro‑cracks (1–2 mm (0-0.1 in)) may be present. Head or tail cracks from pressure‑impregnation are allowed only within tolerance limits. - Resin pockets: maximum length 10 cm (3.9 in), one per meter; no leaking resin, inner bark, rot cavities, or insect holes. - No manufacturing defects beyond the specified tolerances. - Deflection: bending may not exceed 1/50 of the piece length; impact not more than 1/100 of the piece width. - Twist: up to 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter length. - Additional bending tolerances: between 1/50 and 1/100 of the piece length. - Sanding: all visible surfaces are sanded smooth. Wood Carriers: - Carrier legs are made from pine lumber measuring at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in), cut with diamond‑tipped special knives and featuring a decorative motif. Seating Unit: - Seat width: 30 cm (11.8 in), length: 140 cm (55.1 in), seat height: 45 cm (17.7 in). - The seating unit’s carrier components are the same 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) pine lumber with diamond‑tipped knives. - Six 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) wooden carrier brackets are mounted to the seating unit with special galvanized screws.
