Height: 250 cm (98.4 in) Wood Characteristics: - The raw wood material used for manufacture will be Grade 1 Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections will be cut with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and wood dimensions will be cut with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in), according to project requirements. - Knot requirements: Each meter may contain up to four solid knots. Knot diameters will not exceed one‑quarter of the total piece width. No rot, decayed, partially fused, or fallen knots will be present. - Crack requirements: Ring cracks will not be present. Microscopic cracks (1‑2 mm (0.1 in)) may occur. Pressure‑treated wood may have permissible head‑ and foot‑cracks within tolerance limits. - Resin pockets: No more than one resin pocket per meter, not exceeding 10 cm (3.9 in) in length. No dripping or pulling resin, inner bark, rot cavities, or insect holes will be present. - Manufacturing defects are not allowed; only deviations within the specified tolerances are permissible. - Bending: Deflection will not exceed 1/50 of the piece length. - Impact marks: Will not exceed 1/100 of the piece width. - Twisting: For each meter of length, twist will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in). - Sword‑type bending: Deflection will be tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the piece length. - Sanding: All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth to remove splinters.
