• Wood Characteristics: The lumber used will be first‑grade Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) timber. Wood sections will be manufactured with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in) and dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). The wood must meet the following criteria: Knots – each piece may contain up to four solid knots; knot diameters will not exceed one quarter of the total piece width. No rotten, split, or loose knots will be present. Cracks – no ring cracks; fine hairline cracks (1–2 mm (0-0.1 in)) may be present. Pressure‑treated specifications may allow permissible axial and radial cracks within tolerance limits. Resin pockets – each piece may contain at most one resin pocket not longer than 10 cm (3.9 in). No dripping or pulling resin, inner bark, rot cavities, or insect holes are allowed. No manufacturing defects other than the specified tolerances. Bending – deflection will not exceed 1/50 of the piece length. Impact – impacts will not exceed 1/100 of the piece width. Twisting – each meter of length may have up to 2 mm (0.1 in) of twist. Torque bending – deflection will be tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the piece length. Sanding – all visible surfaces will be sanded smooth. • Wood Carriers: The supporting legs will be made from pine timber measuring at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in), cut with diamond‑tipped special knives and bearing a motif. • Seating Unit: The seating portion is 30 cm (11.8 in) wide, 140 cm (55.1 in) long, and 45 cm (17.7 in) high. Its supporting parts will be machined from pine timber at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) with diamond‑tipped knives and motifs. The seating unit includes three pine slats of at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) and, for the backrest, two pine slats of the same size, all fastened to the wooden components with galvanized screws. • Table: The tabletop measures 63 × 140 cm (24.8 x 55.1 in) and is made from pine lathe‑turned wood at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in), treated with pressure impregnation and cut with diamond‑tipped knives that provide an oval motif. The table legs are 75 cm (29.5 in) high, also made from pine timber of at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) with diamond‑tipped knives and a motif.
