It is a semi-permeable, pliable, and highly durable polymer; its low cost and high resistance make it popular in industry. Polyethylene is classified into categories based on density and chemical properties. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystalline structure, and branching type. Although properties vary by type, general characteristics include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene products are used in the manufacture of slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch dyes used for coloring polyethylene must have a lightfastness test value of 6 or higher. The product wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) in areas subject to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for barriers and shading elements that are not exposed to pressure. Material must be evenly distributed to achieve uniform thickness. Product wall thickness and dimensional tolerance are 5 %. Electrostatic Powder Coating: All metal components will be prepared for painting by sandblasting to remove oil, grime, and rust, creating pores for better paint adhesion. Fine steel beads are blown with compressed air to open pores and clean the metal surface. After manufacturing, metal parts are coated with polyester‑based electrostatic powder and baked at 200‑220 °C for 20 minutes. Following fabrication, parts undergo a 10‑minute 70 °C dip in a 5 % degreasing bath, then a 15‑minute 50 °C dip in a 1 % iron bath, followed by rinsing and drying. Finally, the entire product is coated with durable polyester‑based outdoor powder paint and cured in a 180‑200 °C oven for 20‑30 minutes. Welds are protected from rust by painting the whole unit after welding.
