It is a semi‑permeable, flexible and highly durable polymer with low cost and high resistance, making it popular in industry. Polyethylene density and chemical properties determine its classification. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure and branching type. Although properties vary, it generally offers good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene products are used to manufacture slides, stairs, handrails, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring polyethylene must have a light fastness rating of 6 or higher. Product wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for areas exposed to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for non‑load‑bearing barrier or shade components. Material distribution must be uniform to achieve consistent thickness. Thickness and dimensional tolerances are ±5 %. Electrostatic Powder Coating: All metal components will be cleaned by sandblasting to remove oil, dirt and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. A fine powder of durable beads will be sprayed with compressed air to open pores and remove contaminants. After fabrication, the metal parts will be coated with polyester‑based electrostatic paint and cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Subsequently, the parts will undergo a degreasing bath at 70 °C with 5 % solution for 10 minutes, followed by a phosphating bath at 50 °C with 1 % solution for 15 minutes, then rinsed and dried. Finally, the components will receive a weather‑resistant polyester powder coating and be baked at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes. Weld seams will be painted in a single coat after welding to prevent corrosion.
