It is a semi‑permeable, moldable, and highly durable polymer; its low cost and high resistance make it a preferred material in industry. Polyethylene is classified into categories based on density and chemical properties. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystalline structure, and branching type. Although properties vary by type, general characteristics include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene products are used to manufacture slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading in polyethylene items, masterbatch dyes used for coloring must have a light fastness rating of 6 or higher. The product wall thickness must be a minimum of 6 mm (0.2 in) for areas exposed to pressure and abrasion, and a minimum of 4 mm (0.2 in) for components used as barriers or shade structures that are not subjected to pressure. Material distribution must be even to achieve uniform thickness. Wall‑thickness tolerance and dimensional deviation are 5 %. Electrostatic Powder Coating All metal components will be prepared for painting by sandblasting to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating pores for better paint adhesion. Fine steel beads packed in a pressure‑resistant cabinet will be sprayed with compressed air to open pores on the metal surface and remove contaminants. After fabrication, metal parts will be coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in a 200–220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Subsequently, metal components will undergo a 10‑minute pre‑wash in a 70 °C bath with 5 % degreasing solution, followed by a 15‑minute dip in a 50 °C bath with 1 % iron solution. After rinsing and drying, the parts will be coated with a durable polyester‑based outdoor powder paint and baked at 180–200 °C for 20–30 minutes. Weld seams will be fully painted after welding to prevent corrosion.
