It is a semi‑permeable, pliable, and highly durable polymer that is favored in industry for its low cost and high resistance. Based on density and chemical characteristics, polyethylene is classified into several categories. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. While specific properties vary, common attributes include good resistance to outdoor and moisture conditions, flexibility, modest mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene components are used in slides, stairs, handrails, barriers, accessories, roofing, and more. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The wall thickness of load‑bearing parts must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in), while non‑load‑bearing barriers and shading elements require a minimum of 4 mm (0.2 in). Material distribution must be uniform, and overall thickness tolerance is ±5%. Electrostatic Powder Coating Process All metal parts are first cleaned by abrasive blasting to remove oil, grime, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine steel beads are then sprayed with pressurized air to further open microscopic pores and eliminate contaminants. Subsequently, the parts undergo a degreasing bath at 70 °C with 5% concentration for 10 minutes, followed by a 15‑minute immersion in a 50 °C, 1% iron bath. After rinsing and drying, the components are coated with a durable outdoor‑grade polyester powder paint and cured in a 180–200 °C oven for 20–30 minutes. All weld seams are protected by painting the entire assembly after welding to prevent corrosion.
