It is a semi‑permeable, pliable, and highly durable polymer that offers low cost and high resistance, making it a popular choice in industry. Polyethylene is classified into categories based on density and chemical properties. Its mechanical characteristics depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. Although properties vary by grade, the material generally provides good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, modest mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is employed in the production of slides, stairs, handrails, barriers, accessories, roofing, and more. To prevent color fading, the masterbatch pigments used for coloring polyethylene must have a light‑fastness rating of 6 or higher. The product’s wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for components subjected to pressure and friction, and a minimum of 4 mm (0.2 in) for barriers and shading elements not under load. Material distribution should be uniform to ensure consistent thickness. Dimensional tolerances for wall thickness and measurements are ±5%. Electrostatic Powder Coating: All metal components will be prepared by abrasive blasting to remove oil, grease, and rust, creating a porous surface that improves paint adhesion. Fine steel shot will be propelled with compressed air to open pores and eliminate contaminants. After manufacturing, each metal part will be coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in a furnace at 200–220 °C for 20 minutes. Subsequently, the components will undergo a 10‑minute wash in a 70 °C bath with a 5% solvent concentration, followed by a 15‑minute dip in a 50 °C bath with a 1% iron‑based solution. After rinsing and drying, the parts will receive a durable polyester‑based powder coating suitable for outdoor use, baked at 180–200 °C for 20–30 minutes. All welds will be protected from corrosion by ensuring the entire product is coated as a single, continuous layer after welding.
