It is semi‑permeable, flexible, and highly durable, offering low cost and high resistance, making it popular in industry. Polyethylene is classified into categories based on density and chemical properties. Its mechanical characteristics depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. Although properties vary by type, general traits include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used to manufacture slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch dyes used for coloring polyethylene must have a light fastness rating of 6 or higher. The product’s wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for areas exposed to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for barriers and shading elements not subjected to pressure. Material distribution must be uniform, and thickness tolerances are ±5 %. Electrostatic Powder Coating All metal components will be prepared for painting by sandblasting to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating pores for better paint adhesion. Fine steel beads will be sprayed with compressed air to open pores and clean the metal surface before coating. After manufacturing, metal parts will be coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in a 200–220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Following this, parts will undergo a 10‑minute, 70 °C, 5 % concentration oil‑removal bath, then a 15‑minute, 50 °C, 1 % concentration iron bath, followed by rinsing and drying. Finally, the entire product will be painted as a single piece with durable polyester‑based outdoor powder coating, cured at 180–200 °C for 20–30 minutes. Welds will be fully coated after welding to prevent corrosion. 53845 – The Next Generation Children Playground offers four distinct components.
