It is semi‑permeable, pliable and highly durable, offering low cost and high resistance, which makes it widely preferred in industry. Based on density and chemical properties, polyethylene is classified into several categories. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystalline structure and branching type. Although properties vary by type, general characteristics include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene products are used in the manufacture of slides, stairs, guardrails, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The product's wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for areas exposed to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for barrier and shading components not subjected to pressure. Material distribution must be uniform to achieve consistent thickness. Tolerances for wall thickness and dimensions are ±5%. Electrostatic Powder Coating Process All metal components will be sandblasted to remove oil, dirt and rust, creating pores for better paint adhesion. Fine steel beads will be sprayed with compressed air to open pores and clean the surface. After manufacturing, metal parts will be coated with polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Following coating, parts will undergo a 10‑minute 70 °C dip in a 5% degreasing bath, then a 15‑minute 50 °C dip in a 1% iron bath, followed by rinsing and drying. Finally, the entire product will be painted in a single coat to prevent weld corrosion, using durable polyester powder in an 180‑200 °C oven for 20‑30 minutes.
