It is a semi‑permeable, pliable, and highly durable polymer that offers low cost and high resistance, making it popular in industry. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. Despite variations, it provides good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used in slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofing, etc. To prevent colour fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. Edge thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for parts exposed to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for non‑load‑bearing barrier or shade structures. Thickness tolerance is ±5%. Electrostatic Powder Coating: All metal components are first cleaned by sandblasting to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine steel beads are then sprayed with pressurized air to open pores and eliminate contaminants. After manufacturing, metal parts are coated with polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in a 200–220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Subsequently, components undergo a 10‑minute, 70 °C, 5 % concentration degreasing bath, followed by a 15‑minute, 50 °C, 1 % concentration iron‑phosphate dip. After rinsing and drying, the parts are coated with durable polyester‑based outdoor powder paint and cured at 180–200 °C for 20–30 minutes. All welds are fully coated after welding to prevent corrosion.
