It is semi‑transparent, flexible, and highly durable, offering low cost and excellent resistance. Based on density and chemical properties, polyethylene is classified into several categories. Its mechanical characteristics depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. While properties vary by grade, polyethylene generally provides good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, modest mechanical strength, and superior chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used for slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, and more. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The wall thickness of load‑bearing components must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in), while non‑load‑bearing barriers and shade structures require a minimum of 4 mm (0.2 in). Thickness tolerance is ±5%. Electrostatic Powder Coating: All metal parts are cleaned by sandblasting to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. After cleaning, parts are coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Following fabrication, metal components undergo a degreasing bath (10 min at 70 °C, 5 % solution) and a pickling bath (15 min at 50 °C, 1 % solution), then are rinsed, dried, and finally powder‑coated with a durable polyester resin and baked at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes. Weld seams are protected by painting the entire assembly after welding.
