It is semi‑permeable, pliable, and highly durable, offering low cost and high resistance, making it popular in industry. Depending on density and chemical properties, it is classified into several categories. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystalline structure, and branching. While characteristics vary, it generally provides good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used to manufacture slides, stairs, handrails, barriers, accessories, roofing, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The material thickness should be a minimum of 6 mm (0.2 in) for components exposed to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for barriers and shading elements not exposed to load. Thickness tolerance is ±5 %. Electrostatic Powder Coating: All metal parts are prepared by sandblasting to remove oil, grime, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine steel beads are sprayed with compressed air to further open pores and clean the metal. After manufacturing, metal components are coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder, then cured in a furnace at 200–220 °C for 20 minutes. Subsequently, parts undergo a degreasing bath at 70 °C for 10 minutes (5 % solution), followed by a phosphating bath at 50 °C for 15 minutes (1 % solution), rinsing, and drying. Finally, the entire product is uniformly coated with durable polyester powder and baked at 180–200 °C for 20–30 minutes. Welds are protected by applying the coating after welding. The Next Generation Playground, featuring a central Pine Tree Apex, blends nature interaction and provides an excellent structure to promote physical fitness.
