It is a semi‑permeable, pliable, and highly durable polymer that is popular in industry due to its low cost and high resistance. Based on density and chemical characteristics, polyethylene is classified into several categories. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. While properties vary by type, they generally include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene products are used to manufacture slides, ladders, guardrails, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch paints used for coloring polyethylene must have a lightfastness test value of 6 or higher. The product’s edge thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) where the material is exposed to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for barriers and shade structures not subjected to pressure. Material distribution must be uniform, and edge‑thickness tolerance is ±5 %. Electrostatic Powder Coating All metal components will be prepared for painting by sandblasting to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating pores for better paint adhesion. Fine steel shot will be propelled with compressed air into a pressure‑resistant cabin to open pores and clean the metal surface. After manufacturing, metal parts will be coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder and baked in an oven at 200‑220 °C for 20 minutes. Following fabrication, parts will undergo a 10‑minute, 70 °C, 5 % concentration oil‑removal bath, then a 15‑minute, 50 °C, 1 % concentration iron bath. After rinsing and drying, the components will be coated with durable polyester‑based powder for outdoor use and baked at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes. Weld areas will be fully painted after welding to prevent corrosion.
