Minimum 89 mm (3.5 in). The pipe, with a wall thickness of at least 2.5 mm (0.1 in), is cold‑formed to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards and welded with high‑frequency welding. It is manufactured within the standard tolerances, dimensions, and cross‑section range, using round‑section steel tubes. This load‑bearing construction is painted by passing the sand‑coated tubes through a polyester‑based electrostatic powder‑coating oven. The upper ends of the tubes are sealed with polyethylene caps that are fastened with at least two half‑sphere‑shaped aluminum rivets, applied by injection molding to prevent water, moisture, and foreign material from entering. Vertical and horizontal sand‑coated tubes of minimum 89 mm (3.5 in) diameter are connected at right angles using aluminum‑cast or injection‑molded polyamide fittings. The lower ends of the load‑bearing sand‑coated tubes are joined by welding to steel plate flanges measuring at least 150 × 150 × 5 mm (5.9 x 5.9 x 0.2 in). If the installation area has a hard ground, the carrier tubes are anchored to the ground with steel dowels (minimum 10 mm (0.4 in) holes in the plate flanges, using at least 8 × 75 mm (0.3 x 3 in) steel dowels). If the installation area is soil, an anchorage system consisting of four galvanized M10×30 screws welded to a steel plate flange (minimum 150 × 150 × 5 mm (5.9 x 5.9 x 0.2 in)) is used on a sand‑coated pipe of at least 200 mm (7.9 in) height and minimum 89 mm (3.5 in) diameter with 2.5 mm (0.1 in) wall thickness. The carrier construction tubes are a single piece; no tube additions, welds, or seam marks are present on the pipe. Platforms, railings, or clamps are not to be welded directly to the carrier tubes. However, for the installation of plastic‑covered or steel platforms, flanges may be welded with a minimum 5 mm (0.2 in) wall thickness, appropriate to the corner shape and holes of the platform to be attached.
