Low‑density linear polyethylene (LLDPE – Linear Low Density Polyethylene) is a thermoplastic used in various products. It is a semi‑permeable, flexible, and highly durable polymer that is widely favored in industry for its low cost and high resistance. Polyethylene is classified into categories based on density and chemical properties. Its mechanical characteristics depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. While properties vary by type, it generally offers good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene products are used in the manufacture of slides, stairs, handrails, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch dyes used for coloring polyethylene must have a lightfastness test value of 6 or higher. Wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for areas exposed to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for barriers and shading components not subjected to pressure. Material distribution must be uniform to achieve consistent thickness. Product wall thickness and dimensional tolerance are ±5 %. Carrier Construction. Steel tubes with a minimum diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in) will be cold‑formed according to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards and welded with high‑frequency welding, produced within specified tolerances, dimensions, and cross‑section ranges. The carrier construction will be painted by sandblasting the tubes and applying a polyester‑based electrostatic powder coating in a furnace. Electrostatic Powder Coating. All metal components will be prepared for painting by removing oil, dirt, and rust through sandblasting to create surface porosity for better paint adhesion. A fine bead material inside a pressure‑resistant cavity will be sprayed with pressurized air to open pores for paint adhesion and to clean oil, rust, and dirt from the metal surface. After fabrication, metal parts will be coated with polyester‑based electrostatic paint and cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Following fabrication, metal components will undergo a 10‑minute oil‑removal bath at 70 °C with 5 % concentration, then a 15‑minute iron‑removal bath at 50 °C with 1 % concentration, followed by rinsing and drying. Finally, the material will be coated with durable polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint for outdoor use and cured in a 180‑200 °C furnace for 20‑30 minutes. Weld seams will be fully painted after welding to prevent corrosion.
