Polyethylene Products Low‑density linear polyethylene (LLDPE) is a thermoplastic used in various products. It is a semi‑permeable, soft‑moldable and highly durable polymer with low cost and high resistance, making it popular in industry. Polyethylene is classified by density and chemical properties. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure and branching type. Although properties vary by grade, it generally offers good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene components are used to manufacture slides, ladders, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring polyethylene must have a light fastness rating of 6 or higher. The product wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) in areas subjected to pressure or friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for items used as barriers or shade structures that are not pressure‑exposed. Material distribution must be uniform to achieve consistent thickness. Dimensional tolerances are ±5 %. Carrier Construction The carrier construction consists of round‑section steel tubes produced by cold forming according to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards, with a minimum outer diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in), welded by high‑frequency welding. The tubes are coated by sandblasting followed by a polyester‑based electrostatic powder‑coat oven cure. Electrostatic Powder Coating All metal parts are first sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine steel shot is then sprayed with compressed air to further open pores. After sandblasting, parts are cleaned in a 70 °C, 5 % degreasing bath for 10 minutes, then dipped in a 50 °C, 1 % iron bath for 15 minutes, rinsed, and dried. Subsequently, a polyester‑based electrostatic powder coating is applied and cured in a 180–200 °C oven for 20–30 minutes. Weld seams are fully painted to prevent corrosion.
