It is a semi‑permeable, flexible, and highly durable polymer that offers low cost and excellent resistance, making it a favorite in industrial use. Depending on density and chemical properties, it is classified into several categories. Mechanical properties vary with molecular weight, crystalline structure, and branching type, but generally provide good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and superior chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used to manufacture slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, and more. To prevent colour fading, masterbatch pigments used for colouring must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The material thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for components exposed to pressure or friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for non‑load‑bearing barriers and shade structures. Thickness tolerance is ±5%. Carrier Construction The supporting structure consists of circular‑section steel tubes with a minimum diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a wall thickness of at least 2 mm (0.1 in), cold‑formed according to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards, and welded by high‑frequency welding. Tubes are sandblasted and then powder‑coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic finish. Electrostatic Powder Coat All metal components are sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a suitable profile for coating. A fine bead material is sprayed with compressed air to open micro‑pores for better paint adhesion. After coating with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder, the parts are cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Subsequently, the components undergo a 10‑minute 70 °C dip in a 5% degreasing bath, followed by a 15‑minute 50 °C dip in a 1% iron bath, then rinsing and drying. Finally, the entire assembly is painted in one continuous coat to prevent corrosion at weld joints.
