It is a semi‑permeable, pliable, and highly durable polymer that is cost‑effective and highly resistant, making it popular in industry. Based on density and chemical properties, polyethylene is classified into several categories. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystalline structure, and branching type. While properties vary by type, general characteristics include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene products are used to manufacture slides, stairs, handrails, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch paints used for coloring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The product edge thickness shall be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for areas exposed to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for non‑load‑bearing barrier or shade elements. Material distribution must be uniform to achieve consistent thickness. Thickness and dimension tolerances are ±5 %. Carrier Construction Circular steel tubes with a minimum diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in), conforming to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394, will be cold‑formed and welded by high‑frequency welding. These tubes will be powder‑coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint after sandblasting. Electrostatic Powder Paint Process All metal parts will be sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. A fine‑ball coating material will be sprayed with compressed air to open pores and remove contaminants. After fabrication, metal components will be coated with polyester‑based electrostatic paint and cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. After fabrication, metal parts will be rinsed in a 5 % oil‑removal bath at 70 °C for 10 minutes, then dipped in a 1 % iron bath at 50 °C for 15 minutes. They will be rinsed again and dried. The complete assembly will be painted in one coat with a durable polyester‑based powder coating in a 180‑200 °C oven for 20‑30 minutes. Weld seams will be fully coated to prevent corrosion.
