It is a semi‑permeable, pliable, and highly durable polymer that is inexpensive and highly resistant, making it popular in industry. Based on density and chemical properties, polyethylene is classified into several categories. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. While properties vary, it generally offers good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used for slides, ladders, handrails, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch dyes used for coloring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The product wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for components exposed to pressure or friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for non‑load‑bearing barrier and shade elements. Material distribution must be even to achieve uniform thickness. Wall thickness and dimensional tolerances are ±5 %. Carrier Construction The carrier construction consists of steel tubes with a minimum diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in), cold‑formed in accordance with TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards, and welded by high‑frequency welding. Pipes are powder‑coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint after sandblasting. Electrostatic Powder Paint Process All metal parts are sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine steel shot is then sprayed with compressed air to open micro‑pores and clean the metal. After fabrication, metal components are coated with polyester‑based electrostatic paint and baked at 200‑220 °C for 20 minutes. Subsequently, the parts undergo a 10‑minute de‑greasing bath at 70 °C with 5 % concentration, followed by a 15‑minute phosphating bath at 50 °C with 1 % concentration, then rinsing and drying. Finally, the entire assembly is painted in a single coat and cured in a 180‑200 °C oven for 20‑30 minutes to ensure corrosion‑free welds.
